1. Our Verification Standard
Before publishing key information — such as the role, typical salary range, benefits and general eligibility — we check it against publicly available job advertisements and trusted sources. We treat the official employer or company as the primary, authoritative source.
2. Our Fact-Checking Process
- Identify the source: We locate the public job advertisement or company information.
- Cross-verify: Where helpful, we compare details across multiple reputable sources to catch discrepancies.
- Check key data points: role, typical salary, benefits, location and general requirements.
- Guide to the source: We encourage readers to confirm details with the official employer.
- Flag uncertainty: Where a detail may vary or is approximate, we say so clearly (for example, “approximate” or “typical”).
3. Handling Changes and Updates
Job openings and terms change frequently. When we become aware of a change, we update the relevant article as soon as practicable. The official employer always takes precedence — we strongly advise readers to verify every detail there before applying.
4. Reporting an Error
If you believe any information is inaccurate, email support@bbcnewsmarathi.in with the subject “Fact Check”, including the article URL and the specific detail, with a reliable source if available. See our Corrections Policy.
5. Our Commitment
We are committed to honest, transparent and accurate reporting. We never knowingly publish false or misleading information and correct errors promptly and openly.
